Ray Russo was born in Vancouver BC in 1986. He was adopted into an Italian Kelowna settler family at the young age of 4 and was raised in the Okanagan Valley. Ray’s family-owned farmland in Kelowna, so throughout his life, he was taught what hard work and dedication does for a man’s life.  

At the age of 10, Ray was watching some framers build his family home and thought to himself “how cool it was, watching them walk on walls, building the foundation and bones of what was soon to be a home. He knew then that when he was to grow up, he was surely going to give this a try!

At the age of 17 Ray decided to enter the workforce and start at a career in Carpentry. This soon became a career that he fell in love with, and he found himself daydreaming about what it would be like to take off and start his own company in this trade industry. He spent many years working with a couple different framing companies in Kelowna and even moved to Saskatchewan for 6 years to frame houses.

In 2016 Ray found himself back home in Kelowna BC, missing everything that the Sunshine Valley had to offer, and sick of the -40 C winters in the prairies. In 2017 Ray decided he was ready to start his own business and started sub-contracting jobs from a Company he previously worked for.

Since then, Ray Russo Construction has grown tremendously, and Ray and his crew have completed and taken on many large development jobs here in Kelowna.
